About
TrailzEnd
Adventures for people who need to know what's around the next bend.
There's a moment every adventurer knows. You're deep into something hard — legs burning, map uncertain, the comfortable world far behind you — and just ahead, the trail curves out of sight. You don't know what's there. You have to earn the right to find out.
That's what TrailzEnd is about.
We're Jerry and Lynette, a couple based in the US Virgin Islands who have never quite managed to stay put. We've descended into the Grand Canyon and climbed back out. We've skied steep mountain faces and dropped into deep water. We chase adventure across terrain and season, by bike, by boot, and by fin.
Jerry is pushing 70. Lynette is close behind. We mention this not to be remarkable, but because we think too many people believe the window for this kind of life eventually closes. It doesn't. It just changes shape.
When bad knees ruled out Jerry's dream of hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, the answer wasn't to stop — it was to find a different way. The Great Divide Mountain Bike Route, 2,700 miles from the Mexican border to Canada, turned out to be that way. Easier on the knees. Harder on everything else.
We document what we find: the climbs, the campsites, the small towns that make you want to stay, the landscapes that remind you why you left. Not as a guide, exactly — more as a record of what's possible when you keep moving toward the bend in the trail.
Not everyone can make it to TrailzEnd. But we'll keep showing you what's out there.
